The tease for the Lotus Evora Roadster
Lotus are promising to ‘Blow the roof off Geneva’ in a cryptic tease for the Geneva Motor Show. We’re assuming that means the Lotus Evora Roadster. It’s three years since we reported Lotus future plans for the Evora, with a S/C version, auto ‘box and the Lotus Evora Roadster expected at some point.
The 2012 Acura TSX sedan and sports wagon gets a $200 price bump across the line, which puts the base model with a five-speed automatic at $30,695. Acura also announced a new Special Edition package ($31,695, including $885 destination) with upgrades to the exterior including a more aggressive front end, bumper and side sills. Seventeen-inch, five-spoke aluminum wheels get a dark gray finish, and a Special Edition badge adorns the trunk lid.
Plans have been announced to extend practical driving test centres in to Halfords stores, starting with Wellingborough on February 5th. At the moment, there are around 400 driving test centres in the UK where you can take the practical part of your driving test, but that’s about to change with the news that Halfords – the car accessories chain – is to start offering driving tests. Halfords stores around the UK are expected to start offering test facilities after Road Safety Minister, Stephen Hammond, gave the go ahead for to extend driving test in to local stores to give learners more choice.
